Is RKY Water Reminder free?
The app is free to download with core hydration tracking features. Premium features like advanced charts, CSV/PDF export, and weather-based tips are available via a one-time lifetime purchase.
What beverage types can I track?
You can track Water, Coffee, Tea, Juice, Milk, Soda, and custom beverage types. Each beverage is logged with its volume and timestamp.
How do the smart reminders work?
The app sends local push notifications on your preferred schedule. You can set start/end times and reminder intervals. All reminders are generated locally on your device — no server required.
Does the app use my location?
Only if you enable weather features. The app uses your foreground location to fetch weather data from Open-Meteo for context-aware hydration tips. Location is not stored or shared.
Can I export my hydration data?
Yes. Premium users can export logs as CSV, JSON, or generate professional PDF reports. All exports are generated locally on your device.
Does the app sync across iOS devices?
Yes. If you enable iCloud Backup, your logs and settings sync across your iOS devices via iCloud Key-Value Store. The developer cannot access your synced data.
