RKY ILR Tracker Privacy Policy

Overview

RKY ILR & Citizenship Tracker helps UK visa holders monitor their journey towards Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and British Citizenship. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information. The app is privacy-first: your immigration and travel data stays locally on your device or in your personal iCloud backup.

Data We Collect

The app stores the following data on your device and private iCloud backup when you use it:

• Profile details you optionally enter (visa route, start dates).
• Recorded trips and travel history (dates, durations, destinations).
• Calculated milestones and eligibility dates (derived locally).

Where Data Is Stored & Backup

All personal and immigration data is stored locally on your device. RKY ILR does not require account creation and does not upload your travel history or profile to developer-hosted servers.

iCloud Backup: The app utilizes Apple's native iCloud Key-Value Store to securely synchronize your profile, travel history, and visa dates across your own Apple devices. This sync is private to your personal iCloud account, and the developer has no access to this data.

No Server-Side Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit your personal immigration data to third parties. If you choose to export or share data (for example, by using an OS-level share/export feature), that action is initiated by you and handled by your device or chosen app.

Third-Party Services

The app does not use analytics, advertising, or external analytics providers that collect personal data. If a future update integrates a third-party service that collects data, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

Security

We take reasonable steps to help protect data stored on your device, but no method of storage is completely secure. You should protect your device with standard security measures (screen lock, device encryption) to prevent unauthorized access.

Your Rights

• Access & Correction: You can view and update the data stored in the app at any time.
• Deletion: To delete your data, remove entries within the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes local records. iCloud synced data can be managed separately in your iOS settings under Apple ID -> iCloud -> Apps Using iCloud.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided personal information, please delete the information from the device.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, the effective date will be updated. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
