Introduction

RKY File Converter ("we", "us", or "the App") is an offline-first file conversion and document utility. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing transparent information regarding how our application handles your data.

Data Collection & Local File Processing

  • No Personal Data Collection: The App does not require user accounts, registrations, or logins. We do not collect, transmit, track, or store any personal information, device identifiers, or analytics.
  • 100% On-Device Processing: All file conversions—including image transformations, PDF creation/merging/splitting/rotation, data conversions (JSON/CSV), and text encoding/decoding—are performed exclusively on your local device. Your files are never uploaded to any external server or cloud service.
  • Local History Storage: Conversion history and temporary cached files are stored locally on your device in secure sandbox storage. You can clear conversion history and temporary files at any time within the app or by uninstalling the application.
  • Support Communications: If you contact us directly for support via email or our website contact form, we will use your contact details solely to respond to your inquiry. We never sell, share, or distribute your contact information.

Device Permissions

To perform conversions and file exports, the App requests standard system permissions strictly when needed:

  • Photo Library & Media Access: Required to select images for conversion or PDF compilation, and to save converted images directly to your photo library.
  • Document / File System Access: Required to select source documents (PDFs, JSON, CSV, text) and save output files to your device storage.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising SDKs. All purchases and app distributions are processed securely through Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
