Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using RKY AI Carousel (the "App"), you agree to abide by these Terms of Use. If you disagree, you must immediately uninstall and cease using the App.

License Grant

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run the App on your personal mobile devices for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Use Restrictions

You agree not to decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except as permitted by applicable law. You may not modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App.

Content Ownership

All text content you enter into the App is owned by you. The App does not claim any rights over your carousel content. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

Exported Images

Images exported by the App are generated from your input content using the App's templates. You are responsible for reviewing exported images before posting them publicly. The developer is not liable for any issues arising from the use of exported images.

Instagram and Social Media

The App provides tools to share content to Instagram and other social media platforms. Your use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms of service. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

User Data Ownership

All carousel drafts, slide content, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. The developer does not back up, manage, or have access to this content and cannot restore lost records.

OpenAI Integration & BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

Optional Feature: The App provides an optional OpenAI integration allowing you to use your own OpenAI API key ("BYOK") to access AI-assisted text rewrite and slide generation features.

Key Ownership & Responsibility: You must supply your own valid OpenAI API key to use these features. You are solely responsible for keeping your API key confidential and secure on your device. The developer is not responsible for any unauthorized use or disclosure of your API key.

Costs & Billing: Any costs or charges associated with the use of the OpenAI API key are your sole responsibility. The developer does not charge any additional fees for this integration and is not responsible for billing or customer support related to your OpenAI account.

Compliance with OpenAI Terms: You agree to use the AI features in compliance with OpenAI's Terms of Use, Sharing & Publication Policy, and Developer Terms. The developer is not responsible if OpenAI suspends, limits, or terminates your API access.

AI-Generated Content: We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, suitability, appropriateness, or compliance of the text generated by OpenAI. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before exporting or publishing it.

Intellectual Property Rights

The App's source code, assets, graphics, user interface designs, template designs, and brand trademarks are the sole intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App without explicit authorization.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied. The developer does not guarantee that exported images will meet Instagram's current formatting requirements or that the App will be compatible with all future iOS versions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes must be resolved in the exclusive courts of the United Kingdom.
