RKY NFC Terms of Use

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using RKY NFC (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install or use the App and should uninstall it immediately.

License Grant & Permitted Use

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App on your mobile devices for personal, lawful, and non-commercial utility purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Acceptable Use & Restrictions

You agree to use the App responsibly and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You agree NOT to:

• Use the App to scan, clone, write, or tamper with NFC tags, access control cards, payment cards, or electronic badges without explicit authorization from the tag or facility owner.
• Encode malicious links, phishing URLs, exploit payloads, or unlawful content onto NFC tags.
• Decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, modify, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or distribute the App to any third party.

NFC Hardware & Data Encoding Disclaimer

RKY NFC is a utility tool designed to communicate with standard NDEF NFC tags. The developer makes no representations or warranties regarding:

• The safety, validity, or contents of third-party NFC tags scanned by the user. Users should exercise caution before opening scanned URLs or executing automated actions.
• Physical tag hardware compatibility, memory limits, lock conditions, or permanence of written data. Certain tags may be write-protected (locked), permanently read-only, or incompatible with your device's NFC chipset.
• Any hardware malfunction, data corruption, or unintentional overwriting of existing tag data resulting from tag write operations.

User Data Ownership

All scan logs, custom templates, and encoded values are stored locally on your device. The developer has no access to your data, does not provide remote cloud backups, and is not liable for data loss due to device changes, operating system resets, or app deletion.

Intellectual Property Rights

The App, including its code, user interface, brand assets, graphics, icons, and text, is the proprietary intellectual property of Rajesh Kumar Yadav. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation of the App.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, unauthorized tag cloning, hardware damage, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the App.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
