RKY Invoice Maker Privacy Policy

Introduction

RKY Invoice Maker ("we", "us", or "the App") is a professional PDF invoicing application designed specifically for small businesses, freelancers, contractors, and entrepreneurs. We believe your business data is private. The App is designed to run entirely locally, storing your records safely on your device or in your personal iCloud backup.

Data We Collect & How We Handle It

  • No Account Creation: You do not need to register an account, log in, or provide any personal identification information to use the App.
  • Invoice History & Business Data: All customer details, item descriptions, payment records, business branding assets (including uploaded logo image files), digital signatures, and configuration settings are stored locally in an SQLite database on your device. We do not have access to this data.
  • iCloud Synchronization: The App uses Apple's iCloud storage services to sync your databases and files across your own iOS devices automatically. This sync is handled entirely through your personal iCloud account. We do not host, store, or have access to any data synced to iCloud.
  • In-App Purchases: All transactions are processed securely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store any billing, credit card, or payment details. Apple and Google provide us with anonymous purchase tokens/receipts to verify your premium status.
  • Support Communications: If you contact us via email for help, we will collect your email address and any details you provide to respond to your support request. This information is used solely for customer support.

Device Permissions

To deliver its features, the App requests standard system permissions:

  • Photo Library: Used to let you select and upload a business logo to customize your generated PDF invoices.
  • Notifications: Used to send payment reminders for invoices approaching their due date. Reminders are generated locally on your device.

Third-Party Services

  • Apple App Store / Google Play: Used for app distribution and in-app purchase processing. Apple's and Google's privacy policies govern all related transactions.
  • Apple iCloud: Used optionally for private data backup if you choose to enable iCloud Backup. Your data remains private to your Apple ID.
  • Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers / IDFA and Android's Advertising ID), usage data, and app performance/diagnostics data. You can manage personalized ad permissions using your device's advertising tracking settings.
  • Expo Updates: The App uses Expo's over-the-air update service to deliver JavaScript bundle updates. This service does not collect personal data.
  • Support Contact: If you contact us by email for support, we collect your email address and message content solely to respond to your query. This information is never shared or used for advertising.

Data Controls & Deletion

  • App Reset: You can completely and permanently delete all your invoice data, clients, items, and settings from your device's local memory at any time by selecting the "Reset App" option within the App settings.
  • Uninstallation: Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored data. Data synchronized to your iCloud will persist in your private cloud space unless cleaned up separately through your iCloud settings.
